Bought this coffee service in the OP shop today. 9 cups and saucers, coffeepot, milk jug and sugar bowl, made by Leonard Knight at Tintagel pottery in Cornwall. It has traveled all the way across the globe and is in good condition, apart from 1 cup that has been broken and repaired at some point.

Apparently there were multiple Tintagel potteries in Cornwall, first the original one, called Tintagel. Leonard Knight worked there, until he opened the Knight's Tintagel pottery. See http://www.studiopottery.com/cgi-bin/mp.cgi?item=246
