As already said, you will want to see a 3622, 3624, or possibly 3610, on this 4624 saucer. I think the Carlton cups ended up on 3619s.

I also have red now, but not on computer.
The bubbling seen on my saucer was pretty common. The 4624 is a bit later so they may have ironed out the wrinkles. It looks in real good nick.

Ev . You have asked for a cup to be posted - Are you meaning or wondering if "Blue colour-glaze" and " Tango Blue glaze" cups are a different blue?
I think they are the same colour? unless Jeremy can share any thoughts on that?

A vitrified Tango Blue colour glaze cup and you have sent me a pic of one .... a 3622 Stacking Tea Cup I think. Thank you !! Now I have to find 3

Janice, the answer may be in "Ceramics". Either in the Tango for THC article or in earlier coverage of Cook & Serve. From memory I think they named the colour for the pattern ...
... however I do have various vitrified blue items with slight variations, and earthenware blues too. I noticed when the colour glaze etc was being processed that (unless someone transcribed incorrectly) at one stage a dark blue was referred to as Teal.
Ev, I guess ultimately you'd have to check the colour of a cup against something you know to be Tango Blue, which would probably be best with a Cook & Serve item. And don't expect the blue of the Tango transfer/screenprint to be a perfect match for the cup because it won't.
So, no help there really.
The cup looks a good match for the saucer, and unless anyone has seen 4624 saucers in the plain blue it could be correct.
The 3622/3624/4624 shapes are quite late in the history of Blue Tango (10yrs old +): I'll have to ask you the researchers, was THC still using Tango when the hotel stacking shapes were released? As vitrified ware I'd expect them to be for commercial use, but was that for THC or general consumption?
