Eggcup verification by Manos Sourris

I can't find a way to post a video, but I know it is possible, however this photo was taken when Manos was checking out all of the eggcups and he quickly verified that all in the trolley were Crown Lynn.  However I had taken out several that were imports and probables and he worked his way through those without hesitation, like a true professional
I wanted to film Manos verifying each eggcup, but he was too quick and it was all over before I started filming  Perhaps Ronnie the Museum Director had better luck hahaa

Crown Lynn: Crockery of Distinction

Many thanks to Manos Sourris for coming to Te Toi Uku the Crown Lynn Museum today to verify Crown Lynn Eggcups from Johnny Green's collection. He didn't take long to sort them out, by checking the bases, the clay colour and the glazes. There was no hesitation regarding the ones that were not Crown Lynn and they were quickly outed. From 83 that Johnny felt were Crown Lynn only 8 were outed, leaving a total of 75. There were four Kangaroo Eggcups in this collection and it was because a Kangaroo Eggcup sold for over $500 recently and created quite a stir, that it was time to get them sorted.
It just so happened that the Crown Lynn Museum is doing a Your Ceramic, Your Story just now and Johnny turned up with his Eggcups and it all just fell into place and was meant to be.
