Crown Lynn iTechnical ceramics fuse box
Ev and crew, do you think we should have a separate heading for CL industrial ceramics.... just a thought! Meanwhile here is an interesting complete fuse box which a collector brought to a collectors' session that Ev and I were at as part of the Clayathon in Ak last year. I don't remember ever seeing a complete fuse in its case like this one. Thousands were made, no doubt. Where have they all gone? The bottom pic shows the size of the fuse cap we were shown, compared with the usual fuse cap that you see around.

Wonderful. Thanks Sharon, it is great to have a name to connect with these interesting items - I should have taken notes that day, I forgot who brought what!. I am glad they are in the museum.

Yes I agree that we do need this Val, but wasn't that division called Technical Ceramics Ltd or something like that? Didn't they make things in the dry press? Electrical equipment and bathroom accessories. I found this on Te Toi Uku

Quentin Whitehouse was telling me at the exhibition opening last week at Te Toi Uku that he started work at Technical Ceramics and he said it was totally separate from Crown Lynn. In a different building I gather. He has worked in many departments and has so much history tucked away. He said he gave his timeline to Moyra Elliot, but by crikey I would like more than that.
