Two crimp edged handpotted Beach Artware bowls in brown and yellow with spirals in the bases.
Totally different shape from the crimped sugar bowls. The spirals serve dual roles of decoration and keeping the bases flat.

I'd consider these nut or sweets dishes as the spirals in the bases would take too much wear if used as pudding bowls.

As it is they have sustained some chips so I did not buy. SPCA Whangarei, with the plates.
