This is the same shape as 7662 and is also pictured in some Gibson and paterson leaflets that are at the Portage trust

Yes it is part of the Bristile Australia range. I haven't found the connection to the Crown Lynn Bristile ware and the Australian Bristile range, but there has to be one.
I think we have more info about the Oz company than they do, thanks to those Gibpat brochures.
I keep seeing this shape here and there, but leave them as they have Australia on the base, or nothing. Today I added a couple of Metro items to the Gallery that were put on the CLCofD Facebook page.
