who put transfers on Clay Craft shapes? Empty who put transfers on Clay Craft shapes?

We now know that when Clay Craft closed down their moulds were sold and every now and then pieces pop up that are obviously Clay Craft shapes but made by other potteries. So far we have seen examples from Sanderson and Aotea NZ.

Quite a while ago (maybe as much as 2 years), before we knew that, I asked the seller for the following auction if all the pieces were in fact Clay Craft and they said all pieces were marked as such. In particular I was interested in the square handle mug with a transfer of cherries.

Problem is Linda, our local former Clay Craft worker, told me that the only thing they ever put transfers on were "the little buildings" (Air New Zealand whisky bottles).

So, who then used CC moulds to make the mug with the cherries?

Both Sanderson and Aotea have handpainted wares but clearly the design is transfer rather than handpainted, so it looks as though this could be yet another pottery using using Clay Craft mounds.

Anyone got any suggestions?
