Four dots inside a circle is Ben Woollcombe
and the pot...
looks like it has been fired in an electric kiln maybe?

One Mystery mark solved
I was leafing through the Spring 1979 edition of the NZ Potter and found one of our mystery marks on p 21.
The four dots in two concentric circles is Ben Woollcombe who was associated with Dennis O'Conner and Helen Mason.

I can't find the original post for the pot with the mark that somebody wanted identified.

I just looked at the article about him in the Potter magazine and think I was right in saying that the piece I have looks like it was fired in an electric kiln as the clay is dry and uninteresting. Now I would like to find one of his diesel fired or salt glazed pieces.
