My first Trickle Glaze Swan
Well I am now the very proud owner of my first coloured swan. It is the first I have seen in real life, and quite a pretty early glaze I believe.
It is the small swan, shape 154 but not stamped with that. Fraction marked into the glaze on the base is 4/6 4
She does have one small firing fault which is a crack in her wing from the about 1cm in length visable from the inside but difficult to spot due to her colouring.
The picture is way more yellowy than real life, I would describe her as caramel.
And I picked both swans pictured up for $115 not what I wanted to pay, but what I was prepared to pay :-) The Australian swan can maybe be sold to make my girl a better buy :-)

Would your swan be like these in colour?

That is a fantastic price for anything that old - especially a Swan

Thanks Ev I'm pretty stoked. I simply cannot afford the prices on TM so rely on scouting out deals at shops and Auctions.
Yes, definitely like the swan on the left in the second photo there
