I am convinced that this is a very old Crown Lynn lion egg cup, the glaze and feel, does anyone have any opinions?

Somehow it seems to go with the pigs featured elsewhere on this site.

The glaze colour is close to the Rabbit in the Gallery, but the clay looks very 'yellow'.
Perhaps it's one made from using the early clay? I do remember finding a lion on an ebay site once from Belgium .....?

I really had trouble photographing this, it kept coming out blue. Where you can see light patches, there is missed glaze. it looks the same colour as my other CL egg cups, the base is yellow, but it is a stained yellow (from age?) if you know what I mean. Some of my old vases are this colour on the base rim. The last photo is probably closest to the correct colour without any editing.
