Here is some plain coloured Michael blockMichael and Betty Block Kerikeri Block_10
these have the MB mark

I no longer have it, though have seen a bowl
almost exactly the same as this one
with the BB mark
hence I believe it to be Betty Block
definitely not Barry Ball
