Photo courtesy of Manos.
Manos says that this is probably a very rare piece of her work.
It has been slip cast and has her signature on the base.
I've never seen any slip cast ware made by Olive Jones before  Shocked

An Olive Jones Frog courtesy of Manos. Empty Hi Ev by the way the frog is not actually a money box, it has a few holes on his back that are used most likely for flower arrangements. Thanks

I think florists call them "frogs" even if they are simple circles - like the imprints in bricks and in horses hooves

The frog looks like what we used to call Pansy Pots.
The holes would be crammed with Pansies -
it would look rather gorgeous with the frog covered in Pansies!
