The two cups as shown in the photo are as identical as two pieces of Crown Lynn get, same height width shape, Handle etc.
its only the backstamp that is different.
The Aero British is stamped on The Rainbow British is raised.
Heres the pics to scrutinise.
and the backtamps

Re: The Cup on the left is Aero British the cup on the right is Rainbow British (so is it Crown Lynn Also)
What a good question !!
My potters eyes do detect a slight difference in the handles.
The top and bottom where they attach to the cup -
the pink is more knobbly than the other which is smoother and more refined.
Are the bases the same size .... there is something different about the bases...?
I googled Rainbow British ..... and didn't get any info.
I would be leaning towards Crown Lynn .... but we need to find more Rainbow British first.
Great spotting narna

Rainbow British saucers, backstamp for GALLERY
blue and green Rainbow British saucers
I think the Aero saucers will have white middles as the Aero cup has a white handle.
And I know it's not right but looks so cool ...
The saucers came from Tikipunga market last Sunday. Far from perfect (crazing on both and small hairline on green) but cleaned up and display well. The tulips were from Anglican opshop a while back. I don't really collect colour glaze but can't resist a bargain: total outlay here was $3. (Plus peroxide!)
A choice of backstamps for the GALLERY
