This plate has been made on a machine and is very well made.
I guessed that it was from the 1940's when Val first gave it to me to check out.
Couldn't think of anyone other than Crown Lynn for the maker, but now I know for sure that it was Spartan/Stevens and I'm thrilled to bits.
As it's only decorated and not glazed I would consider it a decorative plate.
