I was having a conversation with someone around their favourite shape dinnerware made by Crown Lynn, which got me thinking: what were the common combinations of plates and cups etc used by CL over the years?

I tried to come up with an initial list (which no doubt contains errors) but wondered what other common combinations were used?

So far I have:

  • "Paris" Ambrico Ware
  • Coupe (with Tulip cups)
  • Coupe (with Coffee Cans (was this a combo?))
  • Coupe (with Bevel Bottomed cups)
  • Coupe (with Shape 25 cups)
  • Coupe (with Ball-Handle cups (or did they have different plates?))
  • Coupe (with Eyebrow-Handle cups (as above))
  • Narrow Rim plates (with tulip cups) - think New York pattern
  • Apollo
  • Forma (with Forma cups)
  • Forma (with Truncated Cone cups)
  • Rimmed (with Philippine Bell cups)
  • Rimmed (with Honey cups)
  • Classique
  • Modello

What others have I missed (or incorrectly matched up)?

Good job !!!
If you check out the Flatware Gallery 4000 - 4899
you will spot several saucer shapes that you haven't considered.
