Hobsonville Project....
Thanks for that Ev
I've sent the blogger a message - others have tried in vain to protect this area for decades. A heritage consultant for the "developers" gave the go ahead to bulldoze the oldest part of Limeburners Bay so he could build his own house on the place with the best harbour views. The developer humbly named the street after himself. I've got photos of Banning's Way before it was a street and you can see Clark House in the background.
If this new bloke can get the various government and non-government entities involved to do anything more than smile and nod and then wring their hands when it's too late he'll be a tougher more determined man than any of the few that have tried before and failed. People weep over this place.
Brian Heron's home looks over Limeburners Bay and he has seen years of vandalism take place while those with nominal responsibility for the site have been asleep at the wheel. Brian's a great bloke, a plumber who did well, and he pumps a lot of money back into the local community.
