"WILSONS CEMENT OLYMPIC COURSE CLASS REGATTA 1981"

The small (6mm wide) potter's mark located at the base beneath the handle looks like a plain C in a circle or polygon but it's gotta be Co for Carrick Oliver. Just compare it with dollcrown's jug:

This mark is seriously disguised!

I wouldn't like to bet on that one Jeremy, as the shape and the glaze are not common for Carrick and the mark is illegible. Someone may recognise the work though hopefully.

Perhaps it was an overactive imagination at work on that mark.
