kermiko - Kermiko Pots??? Empty Kermiko Pots???

I would like some feedback on whether these items can attributed to Kermiko.
Kemiko mug I am pretty sure. Shape and glaze match.

Coffee jar with glaze match to mug 155 mm high and shape match to other Kermiko

Very large lidded pot or casserole with glaze match. This is a monster 240 mm high and 230 mm wide. I would like to use it as a casserole but not sure if it is suitable.

The body glaze is the same as the coffee and mug although it looks lighter in the photo.

The body of these salt and peppers also feels like Kermiko and I think Jeremy has posted a Kermiko mug with this glaze.

kermiko - Kermiko Pots??? Empty Kermiko Stoneware (reunion site)

Post  Jeremy Ashford Fri 10 Oct - 11:33

Look what I found when I typed Kermiko stoneware into google:

http://www.oldfriends.co.nz/Institution.aspx?id=267196

This is a trademe reunion site for Kermiko Stoneware.
I did not join as I thought it impolite to butt in, but it has three members which could be useful information for the forum.

Mike, where this came from is that I had it in my my mind that all Kermiko was stoneware and thus should be oven safe. I agree about the mug and coffee shapes so if the glaze is a match on the casserole I think you are on to something.

And ...
Is the top glaze on left mug what you were talking about wrt salt and pepper?

Also ...
I have noticed on the other Kermiko salt and pepper that both are the same shape ie pepper (marked with "P") has just one hole on top: this new set seems to be the same.

I'm so please to see new glazes appearing for Kermiko. The same old transfers again and again got a bit boring.

Later ...
Mike, I had a look at the Kermiko casserole at our Hospice shop and I believe handles and knob are a match. Hospice one is smaller, about 8 inches across the handles and 6 1/2 high to top of knob.

Mike your first mug is 99% definite Kermiko. Ev and I took one to Barry Sluiters who confirmed it for us.

kermiko - Kermiko Pots??? Empty Re: Kermiko Pots???

The mug, the coffee jar and the casserole/pot are an exact glaze match and all feel like Kermiko. It has that lovely smooth, silky stoneware feel. I find it very tactile.
Jeremy, the mug is the one I was referring to as a match for the salt and pepper set. The pepper does have two holes though.
