Is a bit square & fatter than my pic suggests & 18cmh
clearly stamped four sides too but is the square background to the wheel right?

I'm of no help sorry Kat. Perhaps you could research how many spokes his mark has had over time and if the surround has changed at all. This is the mark that I have on a piece of his ...

Yes I hope its an early mark, his early bottles are marked the same in book 'His own Steam'..shame it has cracked aye!

Yay I emailed DCR & they have confirmed this is one of Barry's early bottles & his stamp with what looks like 8 spokes.
