No history, picked it up from a shop in Hamilton this week, the same reasonable price as the other kainhua one on sale. Have been looking under all ginger jars for years.

This is what I call the Mid-Blue Ginger Jar colour, as opposed to the dark blue and the light blue [which could be green I guess].
