I'm not sure about this saucer. But it certainly looks Crown Lynn. And the back stamp says Forma style but it isn't C. Lynn Forma! The tiny writing at the bottom says Made in the Philippines. Is it too much of a co-incidence? Comments appreciated. confused

Crown Lynn were in the Philippines for a time ..... they set up a factory there.
Will have to check it out when I get a chance.
Val Monk's book mentions that endeavour.

Hand Decorated in the Philippines Empty Cups and saucers

Post  mumof1 Thu 28 Nov - 16:34

Hand Decorated in the Philippines Dsc09018
This cup is just marked Philippines
Hand Decorated in the Philippines Dsc09020
It came with saucers (I didn't buy them, you will see why) which were the same colour, and the same shape as the one previously in this post, forgot to take a photo of the top of them.
Hand Decorated in the Philippines Dsc09019
The base of the saucer is marked as seen, with a different name to the plates above. I didn't buy them, because I decided by the feel and shape that they were not CL and there was no indication on the saucers to confirm that they were associated at all.

It looks to me that they are from the Crown Lynn Phillipines factory. The only real difference is the name of the designer - everything else seems to match one of the above. When I saw Forma it certainly sounded like Crown Lynn. Perhaps others will not agree? ? ?

Hand Decorated in the Philippines Empty CL Phillipines as well???

Post  mike67 Sun 23 Mar - 17:27

These have been popping up with questions as to whether CL or not. I got these from a merchant who had heaps of unused/unsold CL from disposal sales. They didn't know if they were or not but were with the CL. Any resolution to the debate? I'm thinking more that they probably are but has anyone found out any more? Cheers
These are all 200 mm tall

Crown Lynn owned Mayon Ceramics from 1973 to 1982 according to Val Monk.
We don't know a lot about that endeavour but we are slowly building up some pieces on the site.  These pieces mainly have that Philippines mark just like you have posted.
Some of those shapes look very familiar for example the vases and yet the other shapes don't.  Though I'm sure that I've seen those bulging bottles before..... ?
