A simple but elegant pattern that's been lurking in my cupboard for a while...

Rather nice too ....
If it's supervitrified, then it must have been made for the hospitality industry.
I've seen it before ... can't find the pattern name anywhere.
Found a pic of a cup and saucer d362 on google [John Mudgway's C.L. collection]
and the cup is rather unusual.
Let's hope that Marl knows the pattern name Wink

I have a number of these cups and saucers and was curious when they were produced, any ideas?

wonder where the trader found the word "Capri"? Its written on the title of the listing , but not on the back of the plate.. Unless she has d362- capri in her notes too  Razz
I will have a look and see what I can find

Edit.. I too have D362 for Capri in a few places from the museum notes.. ummm !!??
But... capri is EW and these are vitrified... maybe using the same numbers? I know, I can look and see who the "buyer was" for D362 and see if its EW or Vit buisness/shop

Not much help: but can confirm that D362 is Capri and comes in the "colour-glaze colours" no mention of this pattern or it being Vit.....that I could see.

This is what I love about researching crown lynn you go looking  for one thing and its like  :deadhorse: (flogging a deadhorse) but on the ups you find something else that was at the back of your mind

Janice found this listing with the same pattern -

http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=757428230

and as the box has the name Deco No 362 Fidelety on it we will go with that.
A very odd name and spelling, but it's in black and white  pirat

This pattern name wasn't in the Patterns Database, but I will now add it.

Thanks for your astuteness Janice  Cool
