Contemporary Ceramics was one of the brand names chosen to combat the negative connotations of the Crown Lynn Name as the Company struggled against a flow of imported Crockery.

The range was dominated by pink and grey.

Patterns in the range included the above mentioned Magnolia Moon, Ming http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t2013-ming-d641-contemporary-ceramics?highlight=ming Dutch Iris,(here http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/crown-lynn-tableware-f13/dutch-iris-d-640-t1275.htm#3334) and Elvenhood (Here .http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/crown-lynn-tableware-f13/elvenhood-d-569-t1280.htm#3339 and another Quicksilver http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t1290-quicksilver-d570?highlight=quicksilver

Look what I found yesterday, and although I don't want a pale yellow wide stripe on a saucer .......

It had this backstamp! and I couldn't remember seeing it in the gallery
