Re: Sandown D626
Ev, can you tell me a bit more about Sandown please? Maybe when it was produced, how easy it is to get hold of and any others comments you'd like to make? Looks a lovely pattern.
Many thanks, Moth.

Re: Sandown D626
And can you tell me why there appear to be 2 different pictures both called Sandown? The set I've seen looks like the top photo.

Re: Sandown D626
I really don't know why narna's pic came out so orange
Even the backstamp is orange when it really is brown!
According to Val Monk - Sandown is part of the Earthstone range designed by David Jenkin.
It was first released in Canada in 1977 and a year later went on sale in New Zealand, Australia and the Middle East. I see pieces of Sandown listed on TradeMe quite often, but they are never cheap.
The Earthstone Range is one of my personal favourites as I admire the designs and the earthly colours.
I highly recommend that you get a copy of Valerie Ringer Monk's book 'Crown Lynn - A New Zealand Icon'
it comes up often on TradeMe and all Libraries will have a copy.
